Hi All
Just a huge thank you to all the club members, parents & families who helped out with either setting up, running or clearing away for the 13th Annual British National Championships this Bank Holiday weekend. We were really lucky with the weather, all the teams enjoyed the tournament & hopefully we have made a lot of money from other people for your club.
I can’t possibly mention all the people who helped but should make special mention of –
Andrew & Megan Worth plus all the helpers at McWorth’s Food Emporium (I’m loving it!)
Richard Ollerenshaw, Jim, Paul & June Meehan, Graham & Marc Cork, Alex Pearson & U16s & Colin Smith for outstanding car park duties both days

& especially my marvellous wife Jan for everything
No idea yet what the club has made from the event but Jan will finish the accounts & I’m sure it will be an improvement over last year which was a good one anyway. These events are crucial to the club’s financial position & our development. The ½ Marathon generated a donation of £1000 to club funds for just giving up a couple of hours on a Sunday morning to marshal. They are not possible without your help & support to organise & deliver the goods.
If you were unable to help out at the BNC this weekend, or the Wilmslow ½ Marathon last month, just try & find something positive you can do for your club.
